A traveller in me

Hi, I am Kaustubh Samel; Software Engineer by profession. Recently I discovered my new passion for Travelling; and I’m still developing it.

Few years back I was deputed in UK on my first on-site assignment. This was my first experience staying away from all my family and friends. As there were not many people to hangout with but so many new places to visit I started going on few day trips. Eventually all these day trips became weekend getaways, long holidays and even solo backpacking experiences.

As a new travel enthusiast I am looking forward to share my experiences on this space to reach out to fellow travellers. My posts would consist pictures and references of places that I personally found interesting.

I personally believe there are various different types of travellers but they all can be categorised in two types – Wanderer and Explorer. I’d like to consider myself as more of a explorer.

  1. Traveling is a brutality. It forces you to trust strangers and to lose sight of all that familiar comforts of home and friends. You are constantly off balance. Nothing is yours except the essential things; Air, Sleep, Dream, the sea, the sky.
Go, fly, roam, travel, voyage, explore, journey, discover, adventure.
